It is, but's it's more difficult than doing Elbert via the East Ridge (South Elbert TH). Black Cloud Creek holds a lot of snow and doesn't get a lot of traffic in winter.

I've done one of the couloirs on Whiteridge that faces towards fourmile creek road, and then from there headed up towards sherman (didn't make it-partner not feeling good) but as far as avy danger I think most of it would be limited to ascending white ridge and going up Sheridan-no guarantees though, haven't seen it in a while.

That's what I call conditioning maintenance. Hit me up next time you want to come down here, you can spend a couple days on the North side of the Spanish Peaks, East and West Peak, the ridge between is one of my Colorado top 3. The rest of the South Sangre 13ers are pretty sweet also.
