Lots of 13ers.com Updates
BillMiddlebrook says:
"gonzalj"  Bill,

Not to slightly off topic hijack the thread, but I've always wondered if you could get 14ers.com beanies and sell them in the store?

I don't have any plans on getting more items at this time. I have hundreds of Patagonia Capilene and cotton t-shirts boxed up around my house and have to sell some of it.

Sayres BM East Ridge Beta
sunny1 says:
Affirmative.
It's listed with LaPlata as an extra credit thing, although it says NG - assume NO GO!
I was sitting near my library today, Sayres is also in Garratt and Martin's High 13ers book, but from the SW approach.

d_baker, I remember seeing the N Coulior report last year - pretty sweet stuff!

Animas Mountain Route?
climbing_rob says:
"rijaca"  The Forest Service has rangers and volunteers in Chi Basin regularly, plus the area gets lots of use.
Bottom line, don't be a dick and camp at Twin Lakes. (and that goes for you too, Bob)
Dick? No, "Rob". To each his own. I didn't think you were the type to try to impose your version of right/wrong on others.

Silverheels
gonzalj says:
Does anyone know what conditions look like on silverheels right now? Is it somewhat windblown or fairly windloaded up there? Also, the forecast for the 2nd half of the week looks good as of now, so I might head up to silverheels on Friday and attempt the west ridge route if anyone would be interested in joining.

panoramas
BillMiddlebrook says:
You can certainly add them to the User Photos section, but only as wide, JPG files. I currently don't have a way for people to upload Flash panos like I have on the Panoramas and Panoramas pages.

Sorry about that.

Fletcher SE Ridge and Avy terrain
tylermacguire says:
Thanks everyone for the great information. I decided it might be a bit to spicy for a solo mission (especially with elevated avy danger) but, it is on the short list for another time.

Thanks everybody. I now have a good start on a couple options

Where am I ?
geojed says:
"mjsherman"  I cannot guess why the station was named DRY, other than it meant something to the fieldman.

Maybe he was thirsty? Hadn't had a beer in a while?

Recommendations Please?
BillMiddlebrook says:
"CinciKid"  Bill, while we're talking about that area, is doing Elbert via the south TH near Bull HIll and Cosgriff (black cloud????) a via option in the winter???
It is, but's it's more difficult than doing Elbert via the East Ridge (South Elbert TH). Black Cloud Creek holds a lot of snow and doesn't get a lot of traffic in winter.
