Any other options on this?
I noticed this too. You can copy and paste the photo: Just right click the photo, copy, then scroll down and paste it where you want in the text by right clicking again and selecting paste.

I’ll look to see if I can improve the way that works. Thanks

You saved me a bunch of time! Also I seem to delete pictures easily when trying to take the "caption here" thing out or typing things in that area, Control Z does put it back in. Again, thanks

BillMiddlebrook wrote: Sun Aug 08, 2021 12:43 pm I moved to the latest version of the TinyMCE editor (3rd party) and they must have made a change, causing the editor area not to wrap on small screens. I just switched it back to their previous version so it should be ok once you refresh.

I'm headed out to a climb tomorrow and will be sure to fix that when I return.

Thanks for the help!
That worked. Thanks!
I spent some time this morning getting the new TinyMCE version (the TR editing interface) to format properly on mobile and I think I have it. Let me know if you have any problems with it.
Thanks
It's back to not fitting on screen.

It should look like the following on mobile. If not, let me know what browser and device OS you're using. TinyMCE made the new configuration more complicated but I'll get it worked out.

That should be working better now. The new version added some autoresizing defaults which messed up the flow of the edit area. I was able to get it back to a set height so it's easy to scroll through the report while keeping the Photo Pool in the same place. Additionally, I removed the site 'footer' stuff (social media links, etc.) on the TR edit page. This helps keep the editing content in position and works well on a large screen but if you have your browser zoomed way in, you'll still likely have some minor scrolling.

I also made the "Additional Trip Members" thingy a bit smarter, including a "Find..."

You bet. If you see anything wonky or have suggestions on how to make editing easier, feel-free to post here or send me a message.

Hi Bill,
It's still not quite fitting on the screen. I'm using chrome and just updated it to be sure.

Ah, yes, your device is smaller than the minimum that I had it set for. I'll try to make it so it reduces it even further for small devices.

And how the hell can you do a trip report on a screen that small? My eyes would fall out

Without adding a separate thread, I'm having some problem editing TR's. When I try to save, I get the error:

REPORT NAME may only contain Letters, numbers and the following characters:
!@#$%&*:;()-

I'm using Firefox on a Mac, and also encountered this on Safari and also Chrome on my iPad.
