Re: Maroon Bells Parking 2023
I read the FAQs on the web site. There's an interesting exception to the restrictions on private vehicles: if you have a child under 2 years old in a legal car seat, then you can drive in even during the restricted hours.
Maybe a Rent a Kid business opportunity?

Re: Maroon Bells Parking 2023
Typically Aspen Middle School on Maroon Creek Road has been open to the public for free day use parking. The school was doing construction last summer, so parking was not open to the public. I believe the construction should be finished for this summer.
Unfortunately there are so may e-bikes operating unsafely and blocking traffic, including emergency vehicles, on Maroon Creek Road that it is probably just a matter of time until bicycles are regulated on Maroon Creek Road.

You know how you're not supposed to leave kids in parked cars? This seems like a two-sided market, a perfect opportunity to become a middleman and extract money from rich people on both sides.

Just called Aspen.
They are still planning to open Maroon Creek Road May 15th.
He mentioned that if you are planning to camp there to purchase your camping permit first. Then in your camping reservation confirmation email you will receive a link to purchase a parking permit.
