White Dome and Peak 1 were both in great shape. All trees have been cleared from the CT. Mostly sunny skies, Sprinkled for about 5 mins at the bottom of Molas pass at 2pm. Isolated storms after 4pm so far...

What exactly is the "standard" route on White Dome? It's a dayhike from Beartown but probably 2-3 days from Molas Pass.

My Apology

I took the CT from Molas pass 13 miles to the top of the pass and joined what I assumed (based on other trip reports) the standard NE ridge of white dome then took the connecting ridge to peak one then descended the the south ridge of peak one then descended west into the basin and rejoined the CT back to Molas pass. My approach was definatly not the standard, the route would be way shorter from beartown, but I can't get there. I have also heard of others taking a technically easier route to the saddle from eldorado lake.
