Details

Nice seldom visited peak! Parked at last pullout on FR 821. 4x4 and clearance needed. Hiked 200 yards north then up a steep gully to 12800 feet. Took that contour line all the way to base of peak. Climbed gully on northwest face to saddle. One snow crossing where an accidental glissade would put you in lake. Short 2+ climb from saddle to summit.

Looking at the possibility of doing this and 13,159 next door. Good to know it's a short 2+ to the summit on this one.

You'll enjoy the beauty up there. I should have done 13,159 too. Bridal is not much extra effort if you want 3.
