Road clear to gate. Camped near the gate. Minimal snow from Tuesday's storm. Some snow on trail after 13,000'. Climbed up with trekking poles without traction. Used traction on the way down and recommended. Trail was well tracked and no drifts. The guy I hiked with left his boots and micro spikes at home so doable in trail runners and trekking poles but not recommended. Trail is very doable until the next storm and winter sets in.
