Great weather out there today. Road in starts dry, gets increasingly covered in packed snow as you go, a few short drifts you can blow through. Past Fourmile Campground snow is deeper and soft, with tire tracks through it. Don't go beyond the campground without at least moderate clearance and good tires. Road from winter TH towards peak fully covered in snow until you reach the cabins past the Leavick site, then it becomes pretty patchy. I used snowshoes for the first part of the road and didn't need them the rest of the day (Sheridan, Sherman, Gemini).

1 - Road walk beyond the winter TH
2- Overview of Sherman on the way up towards Sheridan
3 - Final section to Sherman summit, no traction needed
4 - Better view of the slope holding snow between Sheridan and Sherman
5 - White Ridge south slope and ridge line nearly dry

Awesome update! I'm not a CO native but was planning on heading out and hitting Sherman next Saturday, I was worried about avalanche conditions but based off your update it seems the risk is not too high right now Thanks for the update, it helped ease a bit of the stress.
