|Peak:||Mt. Evans B (13er)|
|Route:||Via Pennsylvania Mountain|
|Date of Info:||02/19/2022|
Route was in great condition for a winter hike, mostly windblown. Had snowshoes but never put them on during the traverse between Pennsylvania and Evans B. Traction was helpful for navigating some of the steeper hard packed snow surfaces. There is a small cornice just to the east of the Evans B summit, but this cornice and the snowfield beneath it are easily avoided by ascending to the left, gaining the south ridge, and following it a few hundred feet to the summit.
