Skied Dead Dog Today - great conditions. 10:00 was the drop time and it was dead on but I wouldn't have gone any later given the heat. The top was soft wind deposited snow and the bottom was corn. It goes from the summit without crossing the east face but barely so take that into account. New snow will probably change some of this

Also - the road barely goes all the way to the car, and I mean BARELY. Expect to walk on dry dirt for the first bit.

I mean I booted it just fine with crampons etc. Get it early in the day before it is too soft if you are climbing as its softer than what i might consider prime climbing - this next storm will change also conditions and probably introduce a windslab problem at the top given the aspect
