Road is clear of snow to the summer trailhead. Lots of wet avy debris in the Couloir in the morning while we were climbing, but by late morning after we went over to Grays and back down it looked like a lot of the avy debris was smoothing out from the sun. Got to the base of the Couloir about 5:20 and the snow was good and solid the entire way.

Thanks for the info, appreciate it. How bad was the road to the trailhead, did you park at Bakerville or were you able to get as far as the Stevens Gulch pull off? Last time I drove that road in a 4 x 4 I thought we would meet middle earth via the huge pot holes.

We drove all the way to the trailhead. There are a few spots that are pretty rough, but if you have any kind of suv/truck with 4 wheel drive you should be able make it no problem.
