Melting fast. Took crampons and didn't need them as boots sank in easily. Found some great slabs above the the vanishing couloirs, and running water made many spots unfeasible. Route to the bowl was longer because no snow cover on the ground to the SE of the lake, and signs say to stay off. In earlier spring, could walk on snow above those little signs. So walked around N and W side of lake.

Evans summit crowded but biking the road to summit lake in the morning - and down again in the afternoon was not bad. There's a reservation system for cars on the road, so the traffic was very light.
