Route: Summit Lake

Info: Do you like benign masochism? Grab a bike and pedal up to the lake then beeline up the easiest 13er on the planet. It's nice having the road and mountains all to yourself. Not as much snow as anticipated. One small stretch at mile 6 that even a roadie could manage. Finally finished my Evans quad with this quickie. Back to the books

Route: Summit L

Info: Summer conditions. Would have to go out of your way to step in snow. Although no trail, straightforward hike over Warren/Rogers from Summit Lake. Easy peasy.
Route: Chicago Lakes

Info: No traction carried and wouldn't have used if carried. Ascended via Chicago Lakes and descended via the rige/road back to Echo Lake.

Info: I set out with Mt. Warren and Rogers peak in mind. Ended up only getting Warren. Zero issues and took very little time. I started at Summit Lake and was back to the car in an hour. Actually went farther that the summit of Warren, trekking towards Rogers to take a look. Ultimately decided not today due to the fact my wife was waiting for me and wasn't feeling well. I know this isn't exactly everyone's idea of a summit as the elevation gain is only 500', but I just enjoy being on the mountains and exploring places I haven't done yet.
Route: Echo Lake/Rogers Pk
Posted On: 2019-07-04, By: HikerGuy
Info: Bone dry. Started at Echo Lake and worked my way up to treeline, easy to find a path with little understory and using game trails. Made a beeline to Goliath Peak then on to Rogers and Warren. Skirted Rogers on the way back, but it would probably be easier to reascend.

Route: Echo Lake Loop
Posted On: 2016-10-29, By: JasonKline
Info: Echo Lake -> Goliath -> Rogers -> Warren -> Spalding -> Gray Wolf -> Echo Lake loop almost entirely clear. The small amount of snow was easily avoidable.
Route: via spalding
Posted On: 2014-06-12, By: lafutura
Info: snow fields at the top required careful footing but no traction devices needed.
