Route: Via Weehawken Trail

Info: Take the Weehawken trail all the way into the high basin below Potosi Peak/Teakettle Mountain. The Weehawken trail ends here. Head looker's right up and over two grassy ribs into another basin. At the top of the second rib a use trail will drop into the basin. Take it to the obvious saddle between Ridgway and Whitehouse. The ascent to the saddle is on good switchbacks in scree. From the saddle don't head straight up towards Ridgway, instead head down just a hair on the north side and then cut across a dirt slope. Hug the cliff and then climb some talus until you're under the first cliff that makes up a huge tower on the ridge. Traverse left under this cliff and around the south side of the tower, then the remaining route is obvious. It's a small amount of Class 2+ to that point. There's one minor cliff band near the summit that's easy to pass through. Return to the saddle with Whitehouse and climb Whitehouse or return to the Weehawken trail.
