Unnamed 13015
Condition Updates
Route: Northeast Gully
Posted On: 2021-10-08, By: supranihilest
Info: The trail from Eddiesville trailhead is easy to follow. Stay on the Continental Divide/Colorado Trail when it splits at the Machin Basin trail. There's some mud on the trail. Instead of climbing up the first obvious talus slope under the big knob on 13,015's northeast ridge continue on the trail to another obvious talus slope. This one is a lot grassier and less steep. Cross the creek and climb to the ridge then the summit. There's some snow on the upper slopes, mostly or entirely avoidable if you really want to spend the time dancing around it.
Route: Northest Gully

Info: Snow free and dry from the Colorado Trail to the top. Ascended the class 2 gully on the NE face of 13015. This route avoids entering Canon Diablo and the gully (avalanche shoot in winter) is easily visible from the Colorado Trail. I was able to locate a hop across spot over Cochetopa Creek, however, there was a nice fording spot nearby.
