From I-70 exit 147 for Eagle, CO and head south on Eby Creek Rd to the Route 6 roundabout. At the roundabout, turn west on Route 6/Grand Ave and travel 0.8 miles to next roundabout. At this roundabout, follow around and head south onto Sylvan Lake Road. Continue 1.6 miles to Brush Creek Road, and take a right on Brush Creek Road. Follow Brush Creek Road for roughly 9 miles to the fork of East and West Brush Creek. Road turns to dirt here, this split is just past the Sylvan Lake State Park visitor center. The trailhead is just past the Fulford Cave Campground which has a vault toilet.

Info: Forest Service is replacing a Culvert near the Sylvan Lake State Park Yurts and this road will be closed from 8/5/20 to 9/7/20 for this work. Alternate route available for high clearance 4WD to take West Brush Creek at the end of pavement and continue to the top of Crooked Creek Pass (rough 2WD). At the pass a 4WD road heads left (Forest Road 416) and spits out at Yeoman CG. I have not driven this road, and cannot speak to how rough it is. See FS page for more info:
