Over the weekend I had the opportunity to backpack the 4 Pass Loop in the Elks with Ben, Anna-Lisa and a great group of friends from their church group. Having had a few days to look back on the journey, many words come to mind; intense, amazing, fun, just to name a few, but I think the word that conveys the journey best is special. The Maroon Bells - Snowmass Wilderness is in a class by itself and I thought it best to let the pictures tell the story. Keep reading...

Your pictures are breathtaking - thanks for sharing them. Looks like a fun group to spend the weekend with. Loved this route when I did it, well, except for the angry bear at my tent vestibule in Fravert Basin (no, I didn't have food or smelly items in my tent). I don't think I got a wink of sleep the rest of the trip.

Whatever! I am taking my interest elsewhere. Is 14erworld still a thing?

Outstanding, Dillon!
