VIDEO Trip Report - Humboldt Peak

This week's adventure took us back down south to the Sangre de Cristo range as we set our sights on Humboldt Peak. We climbed Humboldt on Monday July 31st. After parking at the 2WD trailhead, we setup camp at south colony lakes.

On Tuesday we planned on attempting the Crestones Traverse but ended up having to call the weekend before we had a chance to do it.

Humboldt is an awesome 14er that gives you great views of the Crestones!
