West Spanish Peak - 13,626' - Southwest Ridge

Given the trip and condition reports on here recently, it would appear that West Spanish Peak was the summit to get. All the cool kids were doing it! I had seen the mountain dozens of times but never really considered climbing it until this year - where I kicked off the drier alpine season by its graces this last weekend. It was a surreal and beautiful day on the mountain with ideal weather, little crowds, and unending views.

I did that peak earlier in the week, and the geology of that area is amazing.
