 Castle and Conundrum

Very fun climb. Its the Elks so theres loose rock and scree. Its a joy. One thing to note: follow the pics on the 14ers app closely. When you hit the difficult Class 2 near 14k on Castle the route that you SHOULD go looks like its the route you shoudlnt go bc its easy climbing to kick it off. If you do not follow that route you end up on loose scree and depending on the route you take to get back to the ridge; a super steep, loose, horrible gully. Thankfully backtracking on Castle to go down the route is crystal clear and no issues following it; its just going up that requires some route finding to keep yourself on more enjoyable terrain.
