early start 2 am. miles move by in the dark. at boulder field just before 6. keyhole and around the back; lots of wind, not much weather. hard snow moving toward trough. 1 memeber scetched by snow in trough, so we turned back. Retreated to boulder field, sat a bit and assulted the north ridge, one move needed at the choke then a cake walk. good stuff. 12 hour round trip. on the way down there was major traffic. the best was the girl at the keyhole in tevas and shorts. painful to look at really.
