Princeton from Radio Towers - June 12th

I left my car at 9:00am. Finding the trail from the road was easy the snow has melted so the trail actually starts right before the snow. The weather was overcast and cold. It started snowing while I was scrambling up to the ridge. I lost the trail to the mine, but once I was on the ridge I found the trail again.

By the time I reached the summit it was completely engulfed in the clouds so I could only see about 20ft ahead of me. I bee-lined the decent instead of taking the ridge back, and regretted it the whole time. The loose rock and dirt combined with the steepness made for an annoying decent. I did however find the trail that I lost on the ascent. It is amazing how easy it is to find the trail on the decent

I saw 1 other group hikers, so I am guessing that the weather kept people off on Sunday.
