 Southeast Ridge

Black Cloud trail is beautiful but steep. Footing can be loose at times. Thanks to amazing volunteers with The Colorado 14er initiative the trail has been updated and restored and improved greatly.! ðð» The well established trail disappears at times up on the ridge line along the saddle , so moderate route finding is an understatement. Several snow banks to deal with as well with some post holing. Many false summits and the hike up the southeast ridge will challenge your fitness.

Hi, how many fallen trees did you have to cross or was the trail clear?
