Huron Peak via Clear Creek 6/2

Left around 8:00am. Below tree line we lost the trail because of snow, but quickly found it again. (not to worry not much snow)The only other area that had snow was above tree line in the valley for probably only 150 yards. It was hot so we post-holed the whole time... The rest of the ascent was a breeze. The views where great! For the decent we decided to try and avoid the snowfield and take the buttress down the east side. This was loose rock the whole time, but not scree so it was manageable. This descent took longer, but kept us out of the deep snow...

Great hike with great views. You can see a ton of other 14er's in the area!
